  5. Coat the top with egg once again, and then, bake them for 20 minutes at 400℉ (200℃) and they are done!
  6. You can also make it shaped like this. You do it by going from top to bottom. The filling goes on the bottom and the upper half has an X mark cut into it.
  7. Fold it in half and then again with a fork, seal it by gently pushing down. Once again, coat with egg yolk, and bake for 20 minutes at 400℉ (200℃) and it's done!
  8. Doesn't the small square look adorable? You can kind of see the apples through the x-mark.
  9. If you cool the filling thoroughly, it'll be easier to handle, and you'll be able to fit more of it in without ruining the shape of the pastry!
